Who We Are & What We Do
Charles-Bernard Gagnon Building Workshop Inc. was founded in Toronto in 2006 and is now operating its design activities from Quebec City since its move in January 2008 under the new trade name CGBWSTUDIO. We are a productive building design studio with a diverse range of high-quality and innovative building projects. The practice believes in embracing building design as a catalyst for urban regeneration. The common thread of our ethos is a service of exceptional quality at all design levels, including schematic, detail design, and construction coordination for the realizations of our projects. The practice can offer clients to get their new construction accredited by LEED - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. This requires a collaborative approach with leading consultants supported by the most ecological and sophisticated methodology in our industry.
What Makes Us Unique
Our lifestyle is informal and open - reliant on talent, trust, teamwork and the positive contributions of all the staff. We do not rely on a hierarchical and formal status. Everything is realized through an open-minded approach that permit the cross-fertiization of ideas to emerge and implement the best design solutions. The practice of building design is inseperable from the social and economic values of the individuals who practice it and the society which sustains it. We as individuals are responsible for contributing to the welfare of mankind, of the society in which we practice, and the team with whom we work.
